Mexico - False AC Undervoltage Fault on Transformerless Inverters

In many parts of Mexico, the line voltage from hot to neutral is very variable.  It drops below the voltage window that many transformerless inverters use to detect arc faults, so the inverter will disconnect for several minutes.  This results in low power production.

Fortunately, many inverter manufacturers that are listed in Mexico have a simple solution.

The hot to hot voltage is more steady, so the inverter can be disconnected from the neutral line to avoid the false arc fault.  This does not affect the performance of the inverter.

Please contact your inverter manufacturer's technical support line for help with this process.
